Show Support for the New Truck in Memory of Ari Fuld HY”D

Standing Together is an organization that unites the Jewish people in support of Israeli soldiers.

For the past 23 years, Standing Together has been going out to the border with treats and letters from supporters worldwide.

As we move towards the New Year, we  urgently ask you, your friends, your community and your synagogue to support Standing Together’s Hospitality Truck in memory of Ari Fuld HYD and Yehoshua Friedberg HYD.

Who were Ari Fuld and Yehoshua Friedberg?

Ari Fuld was a lone Soldier who married and moved to Efrat where he and his wife raised their children. Before he was murdered this past September, Ari worked as the Assistant Director of Standing Together. His job was to go out to the Israeli soldiers training in the field, standing guard on the border, and protecting settlements throughout Israel. He would give the soldiers the biggest smile and Yasher Koach! He would open the Standing Together trailer filled with hot drinks and pastries or cold drinks, ice cream and other treats depending on the season and give the IDF soldiers a boost of morale, caring words, something sweet and many times a letter of support from somewhere around the globe. He would also travel internationally and raise awareness, and support for these meaningful visits to the soldiers.

Yoshua Friedberg was Ari’s close friend and together they served in the IDF as lone soldiers. Tragically Yehoshua was murdered in the line of duty in 1993. Ari buried a friend. And the painful memory of Yehoshua’s murder stayed with Ari every day. Ari’s last project before he was tragically murdered in Gush Etzion was to build the hospitality truck in memory of his close friend.
