Great Evening of Ce=
lebration and Friendship

Last week at an ar=
my base in the Modiin area was the first time this winter that Standing Tog=
ether
distributed warm blankets and gloves to the soldiers. Thes=
e soldiers were moving to the Golan the next day and were worried about how the=
y would keep warm.

Volunteers who ha=
ve visited the same soldiers on other occasions have developed a frie=
ndship with some of the soldiers in the group. The volunteers decided to r=
aise funds to purchase warm winter gear as a gesture of gratitude to these =
soldiers for all they do. The volunteers helped to purchase the fleece bla=
nkets, and special ultra-thin warm gloves. Among them were Noam Steinman, =
Yitchak Cohen both from Canada and studying at Yeshiva Eretz HaTzvi , Karen=
and Hannah, who are doing national service this year at Nefesh B Nef=
esh and Elyana Segal from Jerusalem. It was Hannahs birthday an=
d the chayalim joined in to celebrate. The gifts were recevied =
by grateful and extremely emotional soldiers who couldn’t believe that peop=
le cared so much for them and appreciate their sacrifice.
